Special Thanks!

The support of everyone on this page really goes a long way to the whole AEA Team and to the people of More Tomorrow, Belize!

Mr. Joe Wilson

We are so grateful for the generous donation Mr. Joe Wilson gave us news about last Friday. Mr. Wilson has donated $1000 and his donation will be able to go to the project costs. Joe Wilson Owner/President of Wilson Real Estate Auctioneers, Inc., has been in business “Since 1961” and just celebrated the companies 50th anniversary in May. He covers the whole state of Arkansas and surrounding states auctioning any kind of real estate (homes, commercial, farms/ranches and any size acreage) plus personal property. Please visit Mr. Joe Wilson's website for more information about his business http://www.wilsonauctioneers.com/.

Thank you so much Mr. Joe Wilson! We are very blessed to have such amazing community members support our project!

The Department of Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering has awarded Ben Marts, Harrison Laws, Jenny Doyle, and Sara Johnson with $750 each! As we travel down to Belize there are many of us that really need the funding for travel so we can continue to work hard in fundraising for our actual project costs! It means so much to us to have the Civil Engineering Department support our misson and goals as we travel to Belize! A special thank you to the Department Head, Kevin Hall for his continued support for our project and purpose.

Thank you Department of Civil Engineering for helping the AEA Team reach it's goals by supporting your students with funding!

The Department of Chemical Engineering
Thank you to the Department of Chemical Engineering for donating $800 to each of their undergrad students! It was a big day when we heard about this information and I would like to repost the grateful words from a fellow AEA Team member and Chemical Engineering student, Cody LaBarber:

"My best regards go out to Dr. Tom Spicer, Ralph E. Department of Chemical Engineering Department Head, for his generous allocation. His support and resources will do much more than money can buy for the children of More Tomorrow, Belize. Arkansas Engineers Abroad - Water Tower Design Project Team congratulates the recognition the department has granted its young representatives: Cody Labarber, Kimberly Cribbs, Lindsey Gray and Alex Moix."
--Cody LaBarber

The AEA Team thanks the Department of Chemical Engineering for supporting their students to go More Tomorrow!

The Department of Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering undergraduate Zach Bever has had his entire plane ticket funded by his department! This will really help Zach go a long way in getting to join us down in Belize!

Thank you to Department of Electrical Engineereing for supporting Zach as he travels down to Belize as part of the AEA Team!

The University of Arkansas College of Engineering

Arkansas Engineers Abroad is a team that is composed of many engineering students that attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. We are all very happy to have the support of our professors and staff in funding each student $250 for travel expenses. This means a great deal to each of the students that are planning on making the trip down to Belize as we all are paying out-of-pocket to go there. Being able to help implement the project means a great deal to our team as we have all been working so hard to see this happen.

Thank you College of Engineering from everyone here on the AEA Team!

Mr. Pace
Ben Marts met Mr. Kelly Pace while attending the 2011 OU International WaTER Conference in Norman, Oklahoma. Ben presented a paper on our Belize water tower project at the conference. After the presentation Mr. Pace was very interested in the project and talked to Ben at length over the design and community considerations. At the close of the conversation Mr. Pace requested the address that he may send mail to. A week after the conference our group received a check from Mr. Pace. His generous donation will go a long ways in getting this project completed.

Thank you Mr. Pace from everyone here at AEA!

Another Special Thanks to more companies and individuals who helped us get started! With out you all we do not know where we would be!
